Human reactions are unpredictable; people are confronted with the movement of life and they must adapt to it at all costs. Tests help them grow and are more necessary than they think. The true refuge is spirituality, which allows one to put into perspective the reality that dwells within. An incarnation is short compared to eternity; how many incarnations has a person experienced, and what did those incarnations provide? The question is vast and largely unanswered. One must be content with what is offered in the current incarnation and make the most of it. It is not always easy to resign oneself to the many hazards an incarnation holds; only positive aspects should be remembered, yet it is not always easy to see things from this point of view. Doesn’t everything have its raison d’être! Each step is necessary and should be considered from the best angle, even if seemingly adverse circumstances cloud one’s judgement. A day will come when the reasons for them will seem more just. Nothing is simple, and it takes time to understand the need for the tests and multiple sufferings that mark a life. “The certainty of an elsewhere is a valuable asset. Knowledge comes with time, and one’s advancement in the discovery of this process provides peace and a way to consider the future differently. Spiritual commitment is in some way the result of this long journey, whereby – from one incarnation to another – an encouraging edifice is built towards the culmination of this journey. Achieving the ultimate goal – is it not the supreme reward! Abhyasis are monitored and supported accordingly; they are highly blessed.”
