My child, plunge into yourself to unite with the Sublime Presence. Merge into it, let it subjugate you and take possession of your dazzled heart.

"In these moments, the soul exults; it bathes in the ineffable source with rapture.

"Yes, there exist such moments when the soul is blessed. They are transient, but for eternity's sake, they are recorded on the register of time.

"Keep this quiet force throughout the day; let it suffuse inside you and glorify the Almighty. He can turn towards His creatures, when their call is strong.

"Never stop singing His praises; by bestowing His trust on you, He has cast His attention on you and marked your forehead with the divine seal.

"Love Him with all your soul, He who is so great and whose heart contains the universe. His breath activates the created worlds. He makes them breathe and live according to His laws that are beyond our perceptions, however broad and sacred they may be.

"My daughter, be thankful. Never forget that He looks at you and your love touches Him infinitely, He whose children are His only joys. Relish this grace, you will remember it."

As you can see it is all simple: the relationship with God is made of love and surrender only – love, primarily. If one advances towards Him with a wide-open heart, He will necessarily recognise His creature.

"What else can one give Him, He who has all? Nothing. He wipes away the tears of repenting hearts that turn to Him. He loves His children, over all.

"He wants only their good, even if the effects of this love must entail tests and tears. It is in adversity that they look towards Him – imploring, repenting and subjected.

"A life of pleasures and joys would not be enough to mould a soul; it needs to experience all states, including suffering. The most beautiful ones go through this stage, where, out of utter helplessness, they call the Divine Father. Love is not easy to decode. It comprises many facets, each more subtle than the other.

"Love that is addressed to God is unique, because of another essence, a blessed one. This form of love is unique since it is dedicated to the creator of all things. It is right that it be so, as it is man's sole means to show his gratitude."
