The laws governing this world are nowhere near to being modified. The principles of evolution are established once and for all. "Man can change, his heart can change, yet he will be subjected to the same rules. For a long time the Earth will still remain as it is, if not in its geographical set up, but in the spirit which consists of allowing a human being to evolve through the cycle of reincarnations.
"Each planet keeps its characteristics in the universal Great Whole.
"By being conscious of his extreme smallness, man keeps a clear view of things and moderates egotistic reactions relating to him and his close relations. Thus, he ascribes personal gifts, material benefits and other advantageous facets to karmic manifestations of a transitory incarnation.
"Remaining humble, conscious of these laws, facilitates detachment from the social varnish, which generates so many harmful behaviours.
"The wise man lives detached from the honours of this world. He has understood that only the intrinsic value of an individual is worth appreciating."
