Once again we will come back to surrender. It is the engine of spiritual life. You must particularly work on this aspect of your personality. Without it you cannot advance and then your ego gains the upper hand.

"In each situation, the ego confuses the game and you cannot therefore recognise the real opportunity for you to work on tendencies which slow down your evolution. Be vigilant: your old demons are hidden in the darkness. Incomprehension sometimes covers certain insidious faults of which envy and jealousy prompt you to judge too quickly. Judgement must be banished as a priority. It stifles your discernment.

"Be wary of hasty and misconceived reactions which are likely to lead you to viewpoints or actions that are undesirable for you.

"May you not bristle at our recommendations! You sometimes lose your temper, without even being aware of it and it is only afterwards that you realise your mistake, when common sense reasserts itself.

"Each human being must more or less face his weaknesses. It is necessary not to shirk from humbly admitting them.

"Work toward your own progress with rigour and be tolerant with others, since in a certain manner, you see in them what you do not want to admit is in you."

Current medicine is unaware of an important aspect of man, which will only be revealed much later. Not only would this dimension not be understood, but it would also be wrongly interpreted and so would not be helpful to man. The karmic aspect, which is so important, is ignored. There would be much to say on the issue, but what's the point in addressing it since, in the present state of affairs, it cannot be seriously considered.

"The personality of an individual, as a whole, is determined by his karmic attributes: his way of life with all that results from it – his genetic assets, health, character and the resulting behaviours. The channel represented by family, race and social conditions: all that is chosen according to lessons to be learnt in the incarnation. Health is important in this system. It has many interconnections throughout one's life.

"Medicine is very often misleading. It does not consider man as a whole and relates whatever it does not understand to subjective and erroneous causes. It will take a long time to get rid of hasty and easy theories that it contents itself with more and more. By referring all or most of the unexplainable pathological states to psyche, it adopts a simplistic approach without addressing the heart of the actual problem. In a few decades, men having wandered into dead ends will open up to the reality of human beings."
