Your distress concerning this unprecedented earthquake in India is justified. This country is already particularly plagued by misery and this catastrophe is terrible.

"In the West, you live in a certain comfort, and you cannot even imagine the sufferings of your brothers living in other parts of the world. In the absence of effective help, compassion and prayer show that you are not insensitive to the misfortune of others.

"An era of upheavals has started on this Earth and nothing will be able to stop it. These changes are needed for the balance of the world. Earthmen open Pandora's box and endanger the rest of the balance in the planetary system. They should be moderated in one way or another. It is the destiny of humanity that is at stake, and it is an eternal restarting.

"Man makes progress in terms of excess, and even when he is informed that he puts the rest of the world in serious danger, he continues with this sense of excess without paying attention to the cries of alarm which are constantly uttered. The lure of profit leads him to always go further. Thirst for power will lose him."
