Faith is a divine gift, just like love. Imagine a lifetime without faith. How can one live like that? – so you think. Many live it and with dignity. They can have a well-led existence, help their fellow man and act honestly.

"Why is it so, you say, when so many others who claim they have it, behave so badly towards their brothers? These are the mysteries of creation. God has His reasons, which are not obvious in your eyes. He knows what He does to bring each creature to the point where it must arrive.

"Life is only a short spell in this great process of evolution. Man goes through all possible tests, and he is put to the test; he must measure up to all situations. This is what must make him stronger and humble while advancing towards perfection.

"Humility is a great force; it allows tolerance, a real understanding of the other, and it is a major virtue. The way is long and difficult, but there is every hope for success and it is worthwhile."
