Rise above this human pettiness; it is inevitable even in a spiritual way like ours. Look at what is still happening in mystical groups that have influenced mankind since ancient times. See only the good and the beautiful in everyone, as your dear great Saint Francis of Assisi used to say. Whatever his shortcomings, man always keeps a part of his personality protected from his most prominent faults. Doesn’t he conceal, in his innermost core, the divine energy that makes him different from other forms of life! Man has this distinctive feature, though it does not make him superior. All of creation deserves respect, because it is the work of the divine power. The human being operates to some extent under supervision: what he does, as well as what he says, is known and recorded, one might say. We are emphasising it once again to make all our aspirants fully aware of the implications of their actions and comments, with respect to their commitment towards the living Master. He is the custodian of powers vested in him by the entire hierarchy, which is so very attentive to his person, his well-being and the sincerity of the people who surround him. “We wish the best for him and the entire Mission; hence our choices with regard to major assets which only we can assess, as we are freed from the miasma of the material world. A living Master is supported by our energies. We are aware of human petty annoyances, and we can evaluate them accurately. “Blessed are the pure in heart who are detached as much as possible from the manifestations of the ego, that which leads some people to behave abnormally. May all our brothers and sisters go towards what is essential and increasingly focus on the heart of the heart where the living Master’s action operates along with our blessings.”
