My child, your path is difficult, but you transform your fights into victories. Perfection cannot be attained easily; what counts is to strive for that. All our aspirants are in a similar situation; as they advance, they become aware of their gaps, which they try to remedy. As assiduous practitioners, the way gets clearer before them and they become aware of the efforts they must make. This reflection gradually leads them to change. The sadhana is redeeming and transforms the being in his own depth, even if some persistent tendencies remain and can be felt in his behaviours. Perseverance and eagerness to do one's best transform one's life. With hindsight, one can make a satisfactory assessment, even if perfection is still far behind. All the efforts are counted. It is not possible to escape this rigour in all man's actions, whatever they are; the system is infallible. The main thing is to make sure that what is well overtakes that which is less. Our remarks are not meant to be moralising; they only underline what can slow down their ascent towards the summit. Man has no better judge than himself, when he actually wants to strive for that; there is no need for a vengeful God to do it. It will take time for work to go in this direction. Our way, with its simple but effective rules, supported by the work of the Master, will give the best results. Practice, perseverance and surrender are the key words in this matter. Add love to them, and all will be well."
