Yes, my child, we tell this often enough to you: gain in stature, and don't let yourself be affected all the time by what occurs around you. Attach relative importance to events. Spare yourself and don't fritter away your energies on worthless things. With you also, you see, we must repeat ourselves. Don't dwell on this kind of consideration concerning our messages. We have told you this enough: reverting to the same topics is necessary; you can judge it from what concerns you. How much of our advice is put into practice, in relation to the amount of what we have given? Man is made like that, he thinks and he forgets. He has to be placed in a similar situation so that this experiment ends up raising his awareness on his weaknesses. It is not easy to mend one's ways. It requires ceaseless efforts; easiness is so convenient. Nobody's life is simple; sooner or later, tests arise and it is advisable to face up to them. In such circumstances, it is helpful to persevere for a long time in observing one's weaknesses. Strength of character allows one to overcome them [weaknesses], when it is reinforced by faith. Having faith is the best thing for a human being; it is a precious bastion against despair. A faithless life is direly devoid of resources. You who have this luck, you should appreciate having such a recourse, which gives to your life its full meaning."

The bond, which was established between your Master and you, answers our wishes. It is a beautiful example of Master-to-disciple union. Your special perceptions are an element that fosters it, but be that as it may, this kind of relationship facilitates heart-to-heart exchanges even if they do not result in written messages. Our aspirants can rest assured on this point. True surrender and confidence are determining elements in this matter. They allow a kind of permanent communication between the Master's heart and the disciple's. Having a Master, a guide of a high spiritual level, fosters a search which thus becomes successful. Accompanied by his higher protection, the climbing becomes less perilous, and surer in terms of its effects. Man cannot venture in higher spheres without an enlightened guide. The seeker must become well aware of this aspect of the process. He cannot, on his own, clear all the stages, as he does not know all the subtleties thereof. This reality is not admitted easily. Man believes he is the master of his destiny, of all that he undertakes, in the most varied fields and especially in this one of surpassing oneself, represented by his spiritual search. Here, more than elsewhere, he does not advance alone and cannot do it truly without being supported and helped in this noble and ultimate conquest."
