You should realise that you are preparing your future far from this world, which is limited in its capabilities for understanding. Humans have blinkers; they advance, convinced of their superiority, full of themselves, whereas they are so small in the scale of the universe. They live with this idea that they can conquer other planets, lay down the law, whereas they are not able to resolve their own problems, to live in peace without harming their fellow creatures in any way. Where is man's superiority in what results from this assessment? What is good in humanity was transmitted to it by beings inspired to come to its assistance and not by its own doing. It glorifies itself for its knowledge and its achievements, which it benefits from without being truly the instigator thereof. Time will come when all will come out into the open, and when humility will be the thing done among men. They will have to turn to true values and recognise their limitations. It will take a long time for them to say mea culpa honestly. This race has everything to conquer in terms of good; may God see to it to help them, by opening their eyes."

Lead a draconian struggle, my daughter, so that everything in you becomes luminous. When a heart is beautiful, it deserves perfection. As you know, it can only be acquired through constantly repeated and sustained efforts. True success lies there, in self-rigour, facilitating Master's work. A true mystic knows all that; he does not rely blindly on Him, without considering his own investment, which is important. The conjunction of the two bears its fruit. You know all this already: it is not easy to conquer oneself, mend one's ways, one's way of thinking, of reacting in the face of events, and acting quite simply. Time irons out these difficulties. With sustained attention, self-control becomes surer. When he starts, the aspirant is like a small child who needs to be taken by the hand and led on the way, to show him the obstacles and to protect him. His evolution will then enable him to become aware of his shortcomings and to remedy them, as far as possible. His commitment must be wholehearted and strict, if he wants to follow a path likely to hoist him towards the summit. The onus is on each one to decide; we can only act in full agreement with the seeker and according to the strength of his motivation."
