Let your heart remain in remembrance of us. Let it remain immersed in us and happy to be so, more and more detached from worldly matters. It should not be involved in them with the same ardour, wasting energies that, by the way, it does need. Put things in perspective, objectively; don't let yourself be involved in struggles that are no longer yours. You know that humans are changeable and unpredictable. Their reactions don't matter; move on to something else. Don't let yourself be caught in their games any more. Come back to the main thing; time sweeps facts away, just like dead leaves swept away by the wind. They do not really exist and are mere incidents of no importance. You know that the important thing is in you, invulnerable and sacred, since it is of divine essence; only seeing that will make you forget disappointments inherent in this world. Your refuge can accommodate you anytime as needs arise. It is entirely at your disposal, without any precondition, except for devotion. Let people bustle around you; be compassionate towards those who are struggling and facing up to life as best they can, without having necessarily the recourse of faith, as is your case. Think of all this, my child."

Life is a long training process; each day offers opportunities for spiritual progress. This search is fascinating; it requires constantly renewed efforts. Only great eagerness to succeed crowns this long work with success. The great mystics devoted their life to it, the goal to be reached being their primary motivation. To engage in a way is a choice that often results from a pressing call of the soul that is eager to manifest itself and to continue on its evolution."
