Withdraw yourself in this protected bastion where you can cut yourself off from the matters of the world. Here there are no noises, no waves, and no turbulences of any sort. You can again find serenity, and what you regard as being most important in your life: the peace of heart that results in an approach to the Divine. Its emanations float to it. It can thrive on its benefits. Nothing else is important any more; disappointments, trickery, no longer have any hold on it. It feels happy in this vibration of love, which does not change – unlike as with humans. They are not reliable as they are themselves subjected to the vagaries of life. Faith is a protection; it helps man to live and understand the thousand and one facets of this life, and the human being.

Turn more and more towards God, towards your Master and let your heart, wounded by life, delight in their presence in it. Your soul is sent into raptures in these sublime and sacred moments when Unity manifests itself in you. Let yourself be carried beyond this world, far from its bustle and its disappointments. Regard them as the waves whipped up by the wind, which don't leave any traces. How important are they? Are they recorded on the register of time? They are mere trifles. Your heart has better things to do than letting itself be saddened by human vicissitudes. You chose your true vocation, that of loving the Divine and all that is associated with It. Your Master is there to guide you and prevent your stumbling. You placed all your confidence in him, so what are you afraid of? Is your soul not serene and full of hope for the fulfilment of its dearest wish? Be at peace, my child; whatever the rigours of life, they cannot affect the main thing, the very essence of the divinity residing in you. Be blessed and carried by this powerful force that guides your steps."
