Contrary to appearances, a Master's life is a test. There are many reasons for that. He is loved by his disciples, but misunderstood and lonesome. Some true disciples accompany him on this hard path where he is not spared difficulties of all sorts. His role is not limited to the way he represents himself; he acts well beyond it to help mankind. This work is endless; it must be restarted unceasingly, and thus will it be until the end of time. The situation develops; evil grows with its entire trail which currently prevails by confusing the youth, and which touches every social stratum and all ages. Good is also getting stronger; many souls are being liberated and soaring, carried by a profound aspiration to seek in spirituality that which will give meaning to their life. Spirituality is touching hearts more and more, without anything being obvious and without a large scale assessment being made of it. This work is secret; it operates discreetly in hearts, but it gains in vigour in this process that is likely to accelerate. Evil must be uprooted from hearts and be made visible before vacating the place and allowing the best to grow."
