Who can really know what he is beyond the appearances of an ephemeral incarnation? What is the heart that is hiding behind this disguise? It has come from so far away; which path has it gone through, and which sufferings, agitations and states of happiness here and there? It is fragile and strong at the same time. It can cry, it can laugh sometimes at its own misfortunes when wisdom prevails beyond the present. Laugh and sing, it can do so; joy and sadness are like sisters. A heart can rise in each one of these states. The divine love hides behind tears and laughter, and can transcend all that is pure and beautiful. Surrender attracts grace; it leads the way to this love, which elevates the soul and shows to it where the truth is hidden. Take advantage of each passing minute to grow a little. As little as it may be, it is all recorded on the register of time. Be happy; if you are reading these messages, this means that you have come a long way.
