You see, the human tragedy takes place in every being living on this Earth. At one time in his life when trying ordeals descend upon him, man is helpless. He believes he is abandoned by everybody, and especially by God – if he ever believes in God. This kind of reaction is inevitable. When he is affected in the depth of his being, he loses his bearings temporarily, and generally he must question himself and continue on his road with other objectives. He can turn towards greater wisdom and put all due emphasis on a spiritual process likely to minimise the behaviour of his fellow creatures and spare him great disappointments.
"When he considers that humans are not reliable, even if it is true, is he himself reliable in his behaviour, in general? Man is paradoxical in his way of thinking. Nobody is perfect. Boasting about being different from others is one thing; no one should forget that weakness is inherent in mankind and this is not close to changing.
"Therefore, steel yourself against all kinds of disappointments by taking refuge in the depth of your heart, in this sanctuary where the divinity awaits you."
