Full acceptance is not easy to achieve. Being confronted with serious problems, you can assess what you really earned in this area. To reach a close-to-ideal state on this requires some sense of self-control. It is commendable to do one's utmost to achieve this result; even great saints sometimes failed in this domain. You may sometimes think that spiritual life is demanding, all these efforts sometimes weigh [heavily] on you, but after a break, you can set off again, strengthened and more convinced than ever of the need for you to continue. Without this band of light where you can advance each day, you may find your life empty and gloomy.

"Your spiritual process gave its true meaning to your life, as well as a dimension which makes you bear the setbacks, as well as all kind of ordeals and disillusions inherent in this world. You live on this planet where all is mere illusion. In this case, how could you advance on firm ground? Nothing is acquired in a sustainable way for you and the loved ones around you. One can gain and lose anything in no time at all. Uncertainty is part of your life, only faith enables you to adjust your existence as well as possible."
