Grace, my daughter, grace is our topic today. It is you who cause it, who call it with the impulses of your heart and a certain inner attitude. It is not given fortuitously. The state of vacuity of the heart and of surrender attracts it. Please understand that a doubly locked heart cannot receive the beneficial rays of divine love—a little like an impenetrable and harsh face does not inspire any sympathy.

"Therese of Lisieux who you are fond of had said: 'in spite of my suffering and sadness, I always try to smile to please my Beloved.' Can a soul, which does not call for grace, be filled with it? You know well that grace attracts grace. Therefore, try to adopt the appropriate attitude, i.e. the inner attitude which will ensure that the blessing will come by itself." The Medium: "Thank you, my God, for having given me this faculty 'of loving'; even this, I owe it to you, and I thank you for it with all my soul. It is when my heart overflows with love for you, that indeed, I feel myself overcome with grace."

"You see, my child, it is simple. Love, surrender, the heart of a child trustful in the divine mercy and surrendered to its Master: that is the secret. Let love grow inside you, it will not remain echoless."
