A mountain is climbed in several stages. The higher you go, the more difficult it is. Each step must be measured and carefully considered, and one's determination must be great. The top is the goal. All efforts are geared towards that. The more the mountaineer advances, the more his thought is focused on achievement of his undertaking. This is how you must be in your personal climbing. Whenever you stop to assess your process, you become aware of the progress made. You feel a great joy and say: 'on no account, would I retrace my steps'. Nothing in one's life can provide equivalent benefits. One's union with the Divine gives unadulterated happiness. In addition, you must proceed with your life on the Earth without neglecting your professional and family obligations. In those aspects also, you must follow your path until the end. Do not worry about that; great Masters have attended and are still attending to both aspects at the same time. We do not ask you to live like a hermit on whatever mountain: the mountain is inside you only; there is the summit to be reached. It is an imposing project, and you can achieve it. It is the most beautiful objective you can possibly have. Try to balance your life well; do not neglect any aspect of it. Make the others happy. Make yourself happy by advancing cheerfully towards the goal, with our blessings."
