Remember that gentleness does not mean weakness. Divine love can be expressed through extreme roughness and gentleness. These are two different, but necessary manifestations in certain circumstances.

"A Master's life must not be prone to excessive sensitivity. Human feelings are mere traps. An important work to be done must be given priority above all. To be in the service of the Almighty requires a certain sense of rigour. Serving humanity is a great undertaking, which requires much inner strength.

"You cannot understand everything at your level. But rest reassured; the purpose of our work is not to destroy, in your sense of the word. I am happy to see you changing. You are organizing yourself a monastic life to listen to us. You are preparing for your future mission conscientiously. The sense of rigour you always showed in your life does serve you and will serve you more and more. There are constraints necessarily associated with being completely in our service. This has to be accepted; it's one of the related conditions. You are growing, my child. You are getting into simplicity and you are moving forward; you must progress further.

"We will not go any further today and we will conclude with a blessing to you all.

"You may add that we will continue; we will actually find a few little things to be said."
