To my dear son,

"These sordid suits after so many years, concerning the accession of my spiritual son to the head of the Mission, demonstrate in a notorious way the inability of these beings to hold the role. It is easy to imagine what such individuals would have done in his position.

"This kind of reaction occurred after the Great Master's departure, then after mine, and whoever the representative chosen to succeed him, the same situation will take place again. Some indomitable individuals of his present circle will not accept the choice of his successor.

"Where are, in such reactions, love and respect for the Master whom they pretend to be willing to succeed? What gives them the right to make a better choice, and to think that only they can be worthy of acceding to this position? We always sink back into the so disconcerting human shortcomings, which are not easy to control, because they are expressed at all costs.

"Faithfulness to the ruling Master must be expressed by transferring this feeling to his successor. Is this too much to be expected of the abhyasis? Will they finally understand that respect for the choice made by the predecessors denotes a certain elevation of the mind on their part?

"By expressing the love they say they have for their Master, all the way, and accepting the choice made, they really demonstrate all the greatness of their soul."
