Don't be sad; consider the Mission as a whole and its progression in the world. The deceleration, which prevails in France, is due to this anti-sect propaganda orchestrated by political and religious authorities. It ends up reaching the minds: the media regularly applying themselves to propagating false ideas. This situation results in a lot of abhyasis reappraising their choice. It is sad, but this is how it is.

"The Christians fought for four centuries before being officially recognized in some countries. They were initially regarded as a disturbing sect. It is necessary to let time pass, and to continue what started so well. We are not a religion; we do not impose dogmatic beliefs or established rites. We teach a method capable of helping humanity grow spiritually without indoctrination. This country does not think any more according to the legitimate right of its fellow-countrymen. Our brothers must understand where the truth is, and keep confidence in their Master and in a method, which proves reliable. They will set off again better assured in their approach, putting the way they chose above attacks, which do not relate to them. They will find the enthusiasm that is declining for some of them, and the motivation to set off again on a sound basis in a way that fits them. This crisis will not go on forever; one day the France Mission will come through it stronger than before."
