Countries that are said to be under-developed in terms of technology and economic expansion are sometimes better off on the point that we have just mentioned. What remains are harsh living conditions: hunger, the sometimes total absence of humanitarian aid, and many other dramas that are not excluded even from your so-called advanced civilizations. Misery is more hidden, but it is as dramatic. The Earthly Eden does not exist, whatever the culture and the level of industrialization. The latter is not a remedy for poverty; it does not share the resulting profits equitably. No system is perfect, no more in this domain than in politics.
"A civilization that moves away from the true values is a lost civilization. It condemns itself.
"Sooner or later, it will be necessary to go back to square one. These comments will seem to you complete nonsense, and you may probably not have to experience their reality, but you should know that what knowingly destroys nature, must perish in its turn. It is a rigorous cosmic law; it preserves the balance of the universe and applies inexorably."
