What can we tell you, my child? Chase away your sadness. Aren't we here with you, in these heart-to-heart contacts? What is the point in feeling lonely when the soul is filled with graces? Where and when can it reach that state? Through isolation and meditation, far from all human manifestations!

"In you is the eternal life, the incomparable joy; maintain them with fervour. Your heart needs to be reassured that way. Many of our brothers, even if they are surrounded, sometimes feel that emptiness, that infinite sadness, because they are far from their celestial fatherland. Do all understand the reasons for that nostalgia when in spite of being fulfilled here below they are surprised to feel overwhelmed by it?

"The wisest ones quickly turn over a new leaf and they engage in what for them is synonymous with joy and relief: the heart-to-heart communion with the Divine—the Master for our brothers, in whom they placed their trust. The greatest feast in this world cannot be compared with those of the Spirit, to a fervent and generously surrendered soul. Sensual pleasures cannot exceed that [communion]; they leave sometimes a bitter taste and an even bigger feeling of emptiness. Enjoying reasonably the healthy joys of life is also, in a way, to be united with the Creator.

"All must be done in that spirit, without losing sight of the essentials. This day, for many of our brothers, is a source of nostalgia, memories of childhood. Sad or happy, they are life in its multiple manifestations and cannot be neglected. Their spiritual process must enable them to overcome the undesirable by developing in them a mystical life full of rare and incomparable joys.

"May all be blessed and strengthened in their process."
