Humility is the characteristic of wise men; the greatest ones showed the example in this aspect, but are they followed by those who have some spiritual pretensions? That quality is essential, without it nothing solid can be developed for oneself and as an example to people around. Some of our brothers were lost as they forgot it; others will also experience it within our way and beyond, since this fault unfortunately characterizes humankind.

"An aspirant must cultivate humility in priority; it will lead him to regions of purity and surrender fostering Master's work. Assuming responsibility in our Mission does not mean being more elevated than the other brothers and sisters. Abhyasis concerned must ensure that they do not act like that, on pain of harming themselves.

"Basic rules are to be observed under all circumstances. Our method, however refined it is, cannot ignore them. Detrimental tendencies re-emerge and are sometimes expressed where one did not expect them. Keeping a check on oneself is an absolute necessity; it is in this ceaseless work on oneself, that a beautiful spiritual process is developed. The most effective method also requires that attention; without it the results would be delayed. Our aspirants must remain vigilant, the conquest of spirituality on its highest level cannot be obtained easily; it is up to them to do everything possible to reach that point, with our blessings."
