Let us be clear: psychoanalysis has nothing to do with our way and especially no role to play in it. Let us not mix up genres; the other one has no relation whatsoever with the spiritual process recommended in our system. We will not come back to this issue any more; but for pity's sake, may these remarks be understood for good.

"Sahaj Marg must be accepted as it is, by respecting its form and spirit. It is not yet recognized and appreciated truly in its essence. It is preparing for future times when its authentic effectiveness will be assessed. The most sophisticated instrument can only perform according to its affinities with the instrumentalist. This method was given again to today's men to prepare them for the future of humanity in terms of its essential aspects to be preserved. Our brothers have to work to interiorize themselves, and thus to truly know themselves.

"They must divest themselves of useless aspects, and stay aloof from present-day fashions. They will not go far in this decisive century for the evolution of humankind, caught today in a frantic need for seeing and knowing, while ignoring to 'know oneself.' Man runs away from himself. He pities his own fate, but he is afraid to go in depth into things and, especially, to seek to discover his true nature which is divine in its essence.

"Sahaj Marg is a key he can use; does he give it its chance to succeed? No, if at the same time he takes refuge in a process moving him away from the targeted goal. It is up to him to see where his true objective lies."
