Do not pay attention to the ambient noise. Put yourself in a state of complete receptivity, and your heart will be tuned to mine. This moment is gratifying for it; it is offered in greatest ingenuousness. Each time, the process is the same. Those who, while reading us, will follow us step by step in this procedure, reproducing the ritual, will feel the benefits thereof. Establishing this union of hearts daily is gratifying within the framework of the usual practice, thus giving it, beyond conventional aspects, a more personal touch.
"Uniting with one's Master in secrecy, with the heart being presented as an offering, is a very pure gesture. At that level, the hearts of the Masters are merged in divine splendour, thus being as only ONE. The human being must seek to transcend his own nature, by offering himself to this force holding the sacred powers. The quest is long. While advancing, the way widens, perseverance (and its associated ardour) bears necessarily its fruits.
"With time, the prospects are very different and the seeker focuses on the main things. He does not any more waste time making vain assumptions, repeatedly requesting favours for this life and his progress: 'grant me this, give me that'. Facing himself, he understands the need to get down to work and to be ready to receive what he is longing for. Nothing can be obtained without effort, otherwise how could success generate joy?
"A fervent heart knows no respite; it is offered to the Divine in all confidence. As the days go by, all starts again in the same spirit. This continuity is creative; it is blessed and remains the most beautiful victory of man."
