These messages create an additional bond with my son and he does not seem to complain about their style. Be reassured, we want them to be easy to write, so as to reach the greatest number of people. Reading through the heart requires this simplicity. Once the syntax has been respected, each reader will be able to find in them something likely to enlighten him, if he feels through the heart what is beyond their formulation.
"Knowledge is not innate in man; it is good to remind him of some elementary bases. Some readers raised the same criticisms about our books, that the writing was not literary enough. A superficial reading can indeed cause this reaction. They were not written for scholars, for whom there are already so many of that kind. Nevertheless, failing to understand some of our books, our brothers forsake them.
"We cannot satisfy everyone, and that is not our goal. We put some elements within the understanding of all our abhyasis to help them in their quest. We have no other ambition. The way they are received does not allow the use of very elaborate sentences, which would not serve our purpose better. Each one has too much to do to progress in the spiritual way. The most brilliant candidate, though educated he may be, has a lot to learn on the various aspects which we raise here. Arguments presented in a very simple way are more likely to actually reach the heart, which needs a suitable food seriously lacking to it.
"The soul aspires to rise, to find the favourable outcome to this heavy captivity. The least of things occurring to it fills it with pleasure. We wish to help all our brothers, whatever their intellectual level. We are here in a different context, which we wish them to be satisfied with. We bless them and wish them a good reading."
