Sahaj Marg is not a gimmick; our brothers must understand it well if they want to draw the substantial truth from it. In a spiritual process, the intellect is put to rest; work resides elsewhere far from the reasoning and the sophisticated theories fabricated by man. It is within them that this unique play is being performed. That places men in the face of their destiny, divine in its essence; we will never repeat it enough, since everything depends on that.
"Our teaching is not yet well understood by many of our brothers. Our books are not read with either the appropriate attention or the state of mind suitable for this process. They are often captivated by readings satisfying their intellectual curiosity or simply by easy options, without searching in them for answers capable of feeding their spiritual aspiration.
"Saturated with pictures and noise, present-day's man neglects necessary things that could really help him, because he does not focus his attention on the essentials. It is easy to be caught up by the many attractions of this fictitious material life, which cannot provide him with the serenity he craves for.
"Choices are to be made; he cannot withdraw from this world and shy away from his responsibilities. Instead, he should set aside moments of meditation, far from the world and its noise. There, little by little, he will discover his own treasures, through the means appropriate to this quest so close to his heart. Becoming wiser, he will manage to organize his own life in a satisfactory way, fulfilling the aspirations of a soul thirsting for the Divine."
