Be at peace, go your own sweet way and love us; the expression is simple but if one considers the precariousness of life he will not attach a disproportionate importance to the daily events. Each day, precisely, can be edifying: looking around and keeping a check on oneself, lead to drawing straightforward conclusions.
"Wisdom must emanate from this observation, if it is judicious. The spiritual practice makes it possible for our aspirants to better find their bearings in this wide world. They have understood the interest of such a process, counterbalancing the vagaries of the material side of their Earthly existence. From day to day, they keep shaping up, while the heart imperceptibly becomes lighter—the reward being at the end of the road.
"We are happy to see them progressing, even if that is not reflected in their behaviour, sometimes conflicting with other brothers undergoing also the effects of a necessary cleaning. In the final analysis, all is justified, even if the behaviour of some is unfortunate for them, and especially for the image of the Mission.
"Our abhyasis are not in a class of their own, they unfortunately retain the failings of a human being, but they are working toward freeing themselves from them and moving toward a more satisfactory condition. It takes time to get rid of this inhibiting matrix hiding the beauty of the real being. A specific work is necessary; we provide for it in our way. It takes time, but the light is at the end of the road."
