We come back to this strategic point that is the Middle East. Centuries of hatred are accumulated on this site where religious and political leanings confront each other. Men endure these endless conflicts that culminate in violence and murderous fights. Will wisdom prevail one day in this territory, where everyone could retrieve their marks and try to live in peace? If it were only about delineating borders, all would be simpler and could be done in good faith, while respecting the different communities. Let us pray to calm down anger that could generate the worst of harms.
"Failure to respect your fellow man's legitimate rights leads to worse excesses. On this point, you should consider your brothers' sufferings, without prejudice of race and religion. You should know how to cultivate in your hearts love and prayer, which are means at your disposal to see peace finally recovering in this part of the world."
