Babuji Maharaj

You should know how to gather the roses of life; they do not have only thorns. You happen to live privileged moments and sometimes under unexpected circumstances. There are good sides in all humans; you should apply yourself to bringing them out in others, thus fostering their expression. Many of your fellow men do not manage to show their true nature. They withdraw into an attitude or silence that cuts them off. By helping them to give their best, their personality could open out. Do not forget that there is something good in each being, and refrain from judging. You should rather find excuses for your brother, who is fighting to overcome the negative aspects of his persona. It is not always easy to lend a helping hand, but in some cases, let your heart speak rather than your reason. You all are going in the same direction, with a more or less heavy handicap; therefore don't add anything to the handicap of the least favoured. You should consider yourself fortunate if you have followed a process which brings you, in this life, to some kind of wisdom which raises you above the common run of people. You are not advancing alone; think of all these aspects of life."
