My son regrets not being able to come to France. The circumstances are not conducive, hence the failure of his projects. Other opportunities will arise; all is not lost. We ensure that he can achieve a certain number of things in this country, as long as that is still possible for him and given the emerging political context. Politics is an evil corroding the world. It drives many to mistakes. Whatever the political system, the extremists manage to impose their ideas by dominating their fellow creatures less determined than them. A common action can be organized to defend the rights of the Mission, while avoiding isolated interventions that give free rein to imaginings off the subject—these would not serve the good cause. This way of doing things must be avoided. It's more effective to be united and act intelligently while showing restraint and prudence. You should be wary of speeches that are too sectarian, which can draw attention to the Mission in a negative way. Try to share this point of view with your friends so that they can further spread these remarks. Under the circumstances, you cannot afford any error of approach."
