Knowing how to go beyond the vagaries of this material world is not always easy; it can take some time to understand the subtle intricacies of karma. Each difficulty enables one to move forward when its deep meaning is understood, and above all accepted. From this perspective, difficulties make one stronger, more determined to move forward against all odds under the conditions that present themselves. [One must] remain confident in oneself – strengthened by a spiritual journey in which the incarnate Master guides the steps of the seeker who is convinced and following in his wake. Nothing is simple, ever; trials are there for everyone, and the Greatest Beings do not escape them. Such is life; an incarnation in this world is subjected to the rules that govern the world with great rigour.

Acceptance is the beginning of wisdom, and it is absolutely essential here below. The most difficult passages are trying, but when lived in the best possible way, they save valuable time. It is not easy to manage one's life and the destiny that defines it. Accepting, and even being thankful, makes one stronger in the face of adversity. Many of our brothers and sisters experience suffering on a daily basis; whether it is physical or moral, it serves a purpose. It is not easy to understand this – wisdom born of this acceptance yields the best results on this uncommon journey. Human beings feel small in the face of adversity; a heartfelt commitment remains the best asset. The 'divine compass' guides the steps of the seeker, whose confidence is decisive. The results are

surprising when the time comes for taking stock; no one escapes it. May each of our abhyasis attain the best – to that end, everything is being done. So it is.
