Life is passing, and every day it offers the opportunity to do well, to improve and to grow in the direction desired here. How much effort it takes on oneself, and at every level, to accept what an incarnation has in store. Persistently and rigorously following a spiritual path denotes a certain wisdom and a true aspiration for the Divine. It takes so many lifetimes to lead human beings to the point they need to reach. Many experiences lead beings where they profoundly wish to go; for that, they must divest themselves of what is useless, of the negative aspects that hinder their evolution. Who does not have to overcome difficult circumstances – perfect happiness would not be edifying. No great Master in this world has been spared. Trials are divine blessings, even if it is not easy to accept them as such. Every day is revealing; when this is well understood and accepted, precious time is saved. Who does not make mistakes – claiming such a thing would be very distressing, as perfection is not of this world.

Some religions say: "Only God is perfect, and humans cannot compare with Him." Humans nevertheless have the opportunity to improve themselves, to overcome their defects – at least to accept them and do their best to get rid of them. Nothing is simple here below; this world is at a crossroads, one might say, between perfection and the worst. A spiritual path offers humans what is necessary for their evolution – namely, an awareness of the situation and a means to rise by going beyond their own limitations. To

the higher powers, nothing is impossible. They regulate things in their own manner, and humans can only reconcile themselves to it. This is how it is.
