Savour these moments of peace, when love wins over your heart, which is fully offered to ours. Such is its vocation, in the secrecy where this sacred round of true devotees of our Mission takes place. There are many of them and their numbers are constantly growing; this is in the order of things. What is good for humans should not remain unknown to a suffering multitude. This suffering takes on different forms and results from behaviours that are often undesirable. We do not claim to solve everything, quite the contrary – how could we make such a claim? Divine laws are what they are, and they are more easily accepted when a being opens up to the higher reality.

All this is very subtle and cannot really be explained; true spiritual work helps one develop a more accurate understanding of life in its many manifestations. Everything has a meaning: each event, every one of the trials – which are by and large the lot of all. But no one is spared, as we have said repeatedly. The school of life has its own rationale, its own rigour, its joys and sorrows. The incarnate being must draw lessons from everything, from sorrows and joys – all are necessary for each one's evolution. Spiritual advancement promotes growth and helps relieve one of a karma that has such multiple effects. May all our abhyasis fully realise the opportunity offered them to divest themselves of what is useless, of a burden that can be very cumbersome and a

hindrance to their spiritual progress. We are helping them as much as possible; that is how it goes.
