Times will come when you will not be able to count on anything else but on yourselves in many circumstances of the material life. You will experience big problems, you who are accustomed—especially in your countries—with an easy life, although you are not aware of it. People are oppressed, unhappy; they are in an unacceptable destitution compared to the wealth of the industrialized countries.

"It is high time that the nature of things should change. Living under the rule of abundance weakens the beings. They do not know anything about struggling to get a piece of bread or a bowlful of rice to live or rather to survive and not to die of starvation. You waste, you throw away; you do not even respect food any more. It is a due! Mind such behaviour; you may have one day to be desperate for the minimum to feed yourself. Thank God for living in a land of plenty where some lose their energy in defending backward-looking ideas that do not lead anywhere. In this too, evolving is part of your program. Do not confine yourself to your small person. The whole humanity is your family. You have the duty to consider it as such and to act according to your means. Be fully conscious of this problem fully, you will advance."
