The river is flowing, feeding life or destroying it according to what must be. Thus disappear and then reappear the various forms illustrating this world of matter. The divine play is edifying: life is an eternal movement, amplified or controlled as needs arise. Human beings move within the framework of these many manifestations, all of which are educational for them if they actually want to take the trouble to think about the transience of life in its ceaseless changes.
"What does man represent in this immense set-up specific to the rule of matter? Almost nothing—in fact, just what is required for him to go through a choice experience necessary to his evolution? He generally claims to be important, and when comparing himself with the other species that surround him, he gains self-assurance, creating in himself a sort of domination over the rest of the created world.
"This feeling of superiority is harmful to him. Does he respect the Creator of all things by acting without discernment and faith in His power? Karmic laws are rigorous, on this point too. Evil generates evil; when will man understand that his 'superiority' is illusory. Managing oneself amongst one's kind is no easy task; the law of life is hard to all. He must assert himself to survive, sometimes at the expense of the others, when he has not grasped the rules of the game very well. May all our brothers respect them and strengthen themselves through a process leading them to promising horizons concerning their personal evolution. May all be blessed and guided consequently."
