Each life, in the broad outline, is planned in advance; nothing is left to chance as you call it, insofar as divine laws are very rigorous. Love is the most important aspect; it is the strongest vibration that allows a life to be illuminated. It alone can provide the soul with its food. It opens the most tightly closed doors and transforms all that it comes into contact with.

"We cannot stop talking about love. It is life; it gives more beautiful light to faith, to divine worship, whatever the form it can be given by man. When he has gone a sufficiently long way in that direction, the true mystic is beyond religious contingencies. He cultivates in himself this so rare flower—so sublime—that he gets carried away by its scent and nothing else matters to him. Even if until the end of his life, it gives his devotion a dogmatic external form, he has managed to find in himself the door to heaven, as humans call it.
