You cannot really evaluate the progress made since the beginning of our contacts, and yet, you realize our departing from a teaching that guided you over most of your life. You have moved upwards, thus you can better appreciate our simplicity. Are complicated theories and sophistication required to go to the main thing and to reach the Ultimate! It is through simplicity that wisdom is, and can be, acquired, but for that it is not necessary to become a simpleton.
"Simplicity requires striving for it; it makes ideas clearer. Certain people are letting themselves be dragged into endless imaginings that make them deviate from their main goal. They do not know how to hold an intellect, which, for the occasion, can be devastating and mislead them in their search, their initial feelings being buried. The profusion of ideas, as far as spirituality is concerned, must be controlled. Practising scrupulously must moderate these undesirable excesses. The chosen path must be followed correctly when it was so decided. The greatest rigour is essential to obtain the foreseen results.
"When the aspirant has found his way, he had better stick to it and try to excel in his process. That is how the best achievements are obtained: the sincerity and perseverance associated with it allow man to successfully pass through the most difficult stages. Our assistance is guaranteed in such situations, the openheartedness of our brothers being—this should be reminded—paramount in this business."
