Physical beauty is short-lived, what remains is only the soul's beauty and the luminosity it manages to show.

Look for it, if it is not apparent – this beauty in your brothers and sisters. Only this counts, the rest returns to dust.

All is but illusion in matter.

Train your eye to detect the treasures hidden in certain incarnate beings who do not attract your gaze in the least.

A gemstone can hide in the heart of a rock you call a geode.

That is just an image meant to make you realize that, very often, you rely on appearances. You can be sorely mistaken and let yourself be misled in your judgements.

Try to capture what emanates from the hearts of your fellow beings, without limiting yourselves to their faces; this will be wise on your part.
