The decision to make these writings known to my son is a good one. It is necessary to stop this propensity to move away from the source of Sahaj Marg, and to be vigilant.
We had to address the subject once again. Although apparently satisfied with what they receive, human beings like to add their own mark to what is given to them, hence the regrettable drifts that occur in longstanding spiritual paths. Such is human nature.
Meditators cannot fix their minds for very long without letting them wander and move away from their objective. Their minds lead them to intellectual ramblings that slow down their spiritual progress.
Their hearts, in order to blossom, need serenity; their souls yearn to receive nourishment they need and to find inner peace.
Do they know how to provide them? Not well enough. After a break, they set out again with these mental gymnastics, which they cannot do without.
Creating calm within themselves is a long learning process. Their willpower must intervene to control all the thoughts that assail them and that they struggle to control, like a wild mount.
Time will come when with much patience and perseverance they will easily find peace within themselves, to unite with the Divine.
