God's purposes are unfathomable. By roundabout routes they lead souls to their true destination, which is your case. It was necessary, more than once, to move the pieces on the chessboard so that you would come to us. Your previous searches were not in vain. Your heart was in need and was not really satisfied with all that preceded your arrival on our path. Mishaps along the way are sometimes necessary so that thereafter a real choice can be made. This preliminary quest is not an obstacle to spiritual life; it permits one to commit oneself with more certainty, while putting aside regret for not having tried something else.

It is very rare to meet, in one's youth, the right Master. By and large, we all experienced a few things before reaching the goal, and that's a good thing. The natural curiosity of human beings pushes them to proceed in that way, even in this area.

Nothing is done without reason. To find one's Master in a lifetime is a rare blessing. At last the disciple can blossom in his or her practice and be reinforced in their faith. They are motivated to make efforts that will lead them towards their destination, under the benevolent protection of the chosen guide.
