You should not feel 'out of step,' as you say, regarding your spiritual life. You must accept the ordeals and the worries of daily life even if your true nature is of another kind.

These difficulties at the material level are an excellent working tool; they can only serve the higher levels.

Do you believe that my son and what he represents does not undergo that discrepancy, which is humanly difficult to cope with? Things must be that way; an incarnation in this world cannot escape this process. Whatever the goal of it, one must face the realities that are the rules of the game here below.

It is necessary to endure, while giving thanks for the opportunity that is given to work on oneself. There is no way out. Human beings are possessed of free will, but they can't escape strong points of their existence; they must manage them at all costs.

The assessment of their stay on Earth will be done according to this criterion: were they able to face up to things, and in what state of mind have they settled their accounts? Did they keep faith and confidence, and were they grateful for what they received? There lies the determining point for the success of their lives.
