Remember, my daughter, that softness is not weakness. Extreme harshness and softness can both convey divine love. These are two different manifestations, yet necessary in certain circumstances.

The life of a Master must set aside excessive sensitivity. Human sentiments are traps. Important work to be done must be given priority above all else. To be in the service of the Almighty requires a certain rigor. Serving humanity is a great undertaking; it requires much inner strength.

Not everything can be understood by you all at your level. But rest assured, our work is not destructive in your sense of the word. I am happy to see you changing, my daughter. You are organizing a monastic life for yourself in order to listen to us. You are preparing seriously for your future mission. The rigor you have always shown in your life serves you and will serve you more and more. Being completely at our service does not come without a kind of servitude. This has to be accepted, it is one of the conditions. You are growing, my child. You are divesting and advancing; you must continue to progress.
