From life to life, we have to settle accounts with one another, without really knowing why. All these frictions are useful for our development. They push us more and more to go inside ourselves and find the strength to endure sometimes difficult contacts with others; they can also, in retrospect, give rise to reactions that are beneficial for us. One should learn from all experiences, good or bad.

So, whether you still consider her as a daughter or not, you have a karmic connection which cannot be undone by an affirmation.

Nobody is perfect; daughters by blood might have given you other problems.

You suffered enough from this in previous lives.

Believe me, you are privileged. But remember that it is not enough to repudiate someone to make things right.

Go on your way, leave these little incidents behind you. Take refuge in the sadhana; you have not understood this truly. The essential is elsewhere, far from all the hassles of daily life. They are there only to make us better taste the joy of uniting with the Divine. Think carefully about this.
