The road to perfection is very long and difficult. Striving towards it, making efforts in this direction, is meritorious. It is not easily obtained, Earth not being its chosen place. Human beings find themselves exposed to all temptations; they are part of their daily life and it's not easy to escape them, as their nature encourages them to take advantage of what life has to offer. Ascetics detach themselves from worldly goods by dint of all renunciations.

Some great sages have led exemplary lives in this respect. Our path does not require similar sacrifices of you. We give you the basics, the means to evolve, but it's up to you all to manage your lives according to your own aspirations. We don't suggest you isolate yourselves from the world, renounce your possessions, your family – these notions are very personal. It's up to each one to take responsibility for themselves and reconcile their material and spiritual lives. Everything can be done at once, great mystics have proven it in the past and the present. What takes place in the human heart is its own affair. Our aspirants have chosen a path and a Master to whom they've entrusted their destiny. This choice was made with full knowledge of the facts, and their loyalty attests to the depth of their commitment. They trust and are right to do so; their choice could not have been better.
