Don't be fooled by appearances. If Sahaj Marg seems to be stagnant in France, even regressing in certain places, this is not significant. We want motivated, sincere abhyasis who don't attend ashrams for various reasons without being sure of what they want. The Mission must be purified and strengthened.

Numbers are important, certainly, but not at any price. We don't go door to door. People who are really ready to undertake a serious approach do not leave the Mission over human contacts that are not always idyllic. You have to be serious, no group escapes friction. You are all in contact with men and women who have their own characters, their own personalities, which more or less suit you. To stop at such considerations shows a lack of spiritual maturity and we cannot retain them; it is sad for them, but what can we do about it.

Never base your approach on human relations, you risk being disappointed.

See, all of you, the essential – the Master, the priority of the goal to be achieved. Your soul's aspirations alone should guide you all.
