Will is an important aspect of the spiritual practice; we do not emphasize this quality enough – one needs a great deal of it. In this too, it is an eternal new beginning.

To advance on a way without visible reference marks requires a certain perseverance. Nothing is acquired without hardship. In this field, as elsewhere, the will is decisive. Surrender and will complement each other; they are not contradictory, but necessary.

Nothing is easy in this world. From the first moment when as newborns you utter your first cry, until your last breath, a long succession of efforts is required of you all.

In happy moments as in unhappy ones, your head must think and your body act, and this until the end of your life.
