A true spiritual process entails one's total soul-searching. We try, step by step, to sensitize you on all the harmful aspects of human behaviour. Man, with a few exceptions, is not irreproachable. He tends towards perfection; it's the process proposed to him. It's up to him to take account of it or not. Is he able to make efforts?

"It is a cause to be championed which is specific to him; his being so eager is already salutary. Don't lose heart; the greatest have gone through all possible torments. They, too, made efforts to progress. That is not easy. They are well placed to understand you, to encourage you and help you as best they can. They don't want, on any account, only to criticize you, but only to open your eyes and facilitate your work so that theirs completes fully."
