Inside you lies a serenity that cannot falter. It is the ideal refuge where the best of the being is developed, defying time – that time on Earth, when one should not give up in the face of adversity. Each incarnation has its share of trials to be overcome, in order to develop oneself, that is to say, to develop what has been acquired, whether positive or not. The way of Sahaj Marg illuminates the path, the most subtle there is since it is personal and vital. A life is planned in minute detail and no one can escape it.

A spiritual Master himself can be surprised by his own destiny; he may not have imagined it that way, and yet his path was chosen for him very long ago. Who can know his or her future, what life holds in store; even the Greatest Beings who have lived cannot know. Thus continues the cycle of incarnations – planned, and so subtle in its action. Divine laws are of such complexity that they completely elude the most astute. Why one is born, dies and is born again so many times – this principle escapes so many people who are unaware of the very process of life and the numerous reincarnations necessary for human evolution. Why hide this reality and suggest invalid reasons without any real basis; such is not our purpose. Sahaj Marg does not exist in

vain, and its action is undeniably productive. We can assess it and ensure that the greatest number can benefit from it under our blessings.
